Life Verse:

I Corinthians 15:57-58

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

I was raised in church and made a profession of faith when I was 4 years old.  I began school at Boulevard Baptist in 1988.  After graduating High School from the Christian school, I returned to work as a teacher’s aide for a couple of years.  In 2007, I met my husband Michael here at Boulevard, and we were married in 2008.  We have two wonderful children, Lucas and Landon, that attend school here now.  In September of 2017, I was blessed with the opportunity to return to the school as the School Secretary.  I am truly thankful that the Lord has given me the opportunity to serve here with my children in the Christian school.  The Lord began working on my heart shortly after my boys were born, and I often questioned the profession I had made as a child, simply because I was so young.  So, on November 11, 2016, after wrestling with God about the issue for several years, in my home, on the phone with my Father-in-law (who is a Pastor), I truly gave my life over to the Lord.  What a blessing that God does not give up on His children!

Verse: Psalm 37:4-5 (KJV)

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Wade was saved at the age of 8 at Youth camp in Seminole, OK. He was raised by Godly parents and attended Southeast Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. He was married to Victoria in 1999 and began Community college to be a Fireman. At this time He began filling in as song leader on Wednesday nights, then Sundays, and eventually the choir. God used this time to work in his heart and he surrendered to God’s calling of music in his life. So he began courses with Heartland Baptist Bible college in Oklahoma City and  correspondence courses through Louisiana Baptist University. Wade earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on church music. He served as music director and youth pastor at Southeast Baptist for 13 years. After Pastor Ival Robinson’s retirement in 2015 he was called to work with Pastor Matt Martinez at Bible Baptist Temple. Starting a choir and teaching Young adults while working as an electrician and audio video installer. In 2018 He was called to come on staff at Boulevard Baptist Church as Music Director. He and his wife work in the young married Sunday school class and teach in the Christian school. They have one daughter named Joy who is in the youth group.
